GarminRumors.com is an independently authored publication operated by Billy Bitcoin Ventures LLC. Every article, guide, review, comparison, product page, and other editorial feature on this site is written and published by our staff. We are not a user-review marketplace, and we do not publish visitor-written product reviews as site content.

Readers may leave comments on some posts, and the site has historically hosted a discussion forum. Those comments and forum posts are the only user-generated content on GarminRumors.com. They are not editorial content, they are not product reviews published by Garmin Rumors, and they are moderated under this policy.

By posting a comment or using the forum, you agree to these Community Guidelines and to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Terms of Use.

What we moderate

We review community content and reserve the right to de-prioritize, edit, hide, or remove it, and to suspend or ban users, when it does not follow these rules. We also use automated filters, including spam detection and rate limits, in addition to human review.

Conduct

• Be courteous and respectful of other people’s opinions.
• Do not post hateful, aggressive, threatening, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate remarks.
• Do not intimidate, threaten, harass, or impersonate another person.
• Do not request or share personal or identifying information about yourself or anyone else, including addresses, phone numbers, private messages, or account credentials.
• Do not plagiarize. If you quote someone, name them and link the source.
• Do not post offensive, unlawful, explicit, or graphic content.
• Do not post content that promotes violence, illegal activity, or discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
• Stay on topic. This site is about Garmin products, software, and related news. Off-topic posts, political bait, and attempts to pick fights will be removed.

No advertising, spam, or affiliate links

Community content may not be used to sell, solicit, or send traffic elsewhere.

• Do not post advertisements, coupon dumps, giveaways, or self-promotional content.
• Do not post affiliate links, tracking links, shortened links, or any link intended to earn a commission, including Amazon Associates links.
• Do not post repetitive, low-effort, or automated comments.
• Helpful, relevant links to official Garmin pages, manuals, or primary sources are welcome. Unsolicited store links are not.

Amazon Associates links and other affiliate links appear only in editorial content we publish. They are never placed in comments or forum posts.

Images

• Images you upload must be yours to share, or you must have the right to post them.
• Do not post graphic, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate images.
• Do not post images that include personal information, such as shipping labels, IDs, or private messages.

How we enforce this

Garmin Rumors reserves the sole discretion to remove, edit, hide, or lock community content at any time, and to temporarily or permanently restrict accounts that violate these guidelines. Repeat or severe violations may result in an immediate ban.

We do not have to publish every comment. Comments may be held for review before they appear.

How to report a problem

If you see a comment or forum post that violates these guidelines, email team@garminrumors.com with a link to the content and a short description. We review reports.
