If true, this would mark the long-awaited refresh of the Venu line. The Venu 3 launched in August 2023, making it the only major Garmin flagship still without a 2024 or 2025 update. Meanwhile, Garmin’s other flagships — including the Fenix 8 (and now Fenix 8 Pro), Instinct 3, Vivoactive 6, and Forerunner 970 — have all been refreshed over the past year.
According to the Garmin Rumors Release Radar, the Venu 4 is the watch most overdue for an upgrade. The Venu 2 launched in April 2021, and the Venu 3 followed in August 2023. The current number of days since the Venu 3 is 745 days, beyond the typical refresh window of 728 days.
Earlier this summer, a Garmin Japan update briefly referenced the “Venu 4” within its Garmin Golf description — the first time the name appeared in an official Garmin context. That leak suggested that Venu 4 would support second-generation course layouts and PlaysLike distances directly on the watch.
The Bounce 2 would update Garmin’s kid-focused smartwatch, which first launched in November 2022. The original Bounce brought GPS, LTE safety features, and messaging tools for children, though it lacked an optical heart rate sensor. With the recently released Fenix 8 Pro as a model for two-way LTE communication over Messenger, a second-generation model could build on that formula, likely improving communication features.
While details remain scarce, the timing would fit Garmin’s product cycle — especially with a busy fall launch season already underway.
I would prefer to see offline map navigation on the Venu 4.
Too bad this won’t happen…

Once again – if Garmin pushes here their own LTE plans, not supporting general e-SIM for local operators, those products are dead on arrival. We could not use Bounce for our son, as Garmin plan is not available in our country.
I personally own the Venu 3 because of the look, I needed the forerunner but wearing that 24/7 with that look/style is not an option. I wish the make the same models in two option Sport style and Classy Style. Would be awesome to have a forerunner with a Vivoactive look. When that happens I’ll be completely happy.
