Garmin has just released the next public beta version (version 20.15) for several of its Forerunner watch models, introducing features that will go live with the Q3 software update. This update is available for the following watch models: Forerunner 965, 955, 955 Solar, 265, 255, and 255 Solar.

New Features:

• Adds Garmin Share, share your workouts, courses, and waypoints between compatible Garmin devices. – which was also just added to the Fenix Beta
• Added Device Settings Backup and Restore. – While there are no details on this, it is likely a way to back up the settings on your watch to restore at a later date, perhaps when buying a new one.

There were also other fixes and improvements.

You can manually download the update from your watch: Main menu > Settings > System > Software Update > Check For Updates. You must be already enrolled in Garmin’s Beta Program.

• Sign into your Garmin Connect account from a personal computer.
• Select the Garmin Connect watch icon in the upper right.
