Declaration of Conformity Fenix 8

Garmin has recently released the UK and EU Declarations of Conformity for the anticipated Fenix 8 series, specifically mentioning the AMOLED model.

A Declaration of Conformity is a document issued by the manufacturer stating that the product meets all relevant legal requirements, including safety and performance standards. For the Fenix 8, this means the model has passed the necessary regulatory checks and is compliant with the essential requirements in both the UK and the EU, paving the way for its official launch.

The model numbers included in these declarations are A04806 for the Fenix 8-47mm AMOLED, confirming the expected news that the Fenix will have an OLED display. It is unclear if the different size variations and the expected release of an MIP version will share the same model number.

With these declarations in place, the Fenix 8 series is one step closer to hitting the market.
