The first images of the Fenix 8 show potential changes in screen sizes and bezel designs. Here’s how the current Epix Gen 2 Pro and Fenix 7 Pro models compare to what we expect from the Fenix 8 series based on these images.
Current Epix Gen 2 Pro and Fenix 7 Pro Sizes:
- 42 mm Case: 1.2″ screen
- 47 mm Case: 1.3″ screen
- 51 mm Case: 1.4″ screen
Fenix 8 Screen Sizes:
- 43 mm Case: Expected to feature a 1.3″ screen
- 47 mm Case: Expected to feature a 1.4″ screen (similar to the Forerunner 965)
- 51 mm Case: Expected to feature a larger 1.5″ screen
The images suggest that the Fenix 8 series might offer slightly larger screens by reducing the bezel size without significantly increasing the overall case size.
