Garmin Fenix 8 Availability: Some Units Available Now, Others 3-8 Weeks Out

As the Garmin Fenix 8 series has launched, availability in the US varies significantly across different models. While some units are ready to ship within 1-3 days, others have much longer shipping windows.

Immediate Availability:

AMOLED Models: Most of the AMOLED models are available to ship in 1-3 days. However, stainless steel configurations are exceptions and might take longer to ship.

Delayed Shipping:

Fenix E Models: Both Fenix E models are showing an extended shipping time of 3-5 weeks.
Solar Models: All solar models, regardless of configuration, are currently showing a shipping window of 5-8 weeks.

It appears that if you’re aiming to get your hands on a new Fenix 8 model quickly, your best bet is to go for the AMOLED models (excluding stainless steel versions). This probably explains why some people were able to get the AMOLED models before launch, but we have not seen any reports of the other variations. However, if you’re interested in the Fenix E or any solar variant, be prepared for a longer wait.
